Born on Halloween, I’m naturally drawn to stories about the paranormal, spooky houses, creepy graveyards, and misty battlefields. I live in northeastern Oklahoma, an area ripe with great tales of local hauntings and the supernatural that keep my creative juices revved. In grade school, I discovered I had a knack for telling a scary yarn. I learned the craft reading novels by John Saul, Nole Hynd, Barbara Michaels, Stephen King, and many other talented writers.
A collection of my horror and paranormal romance flash fiction and poems is available in Scary Mondays Volume One. Purchase a copy at www.amazon.com. Hope you enjoy both the postings here and the book.
When I’m not writing, I read, read, and read some more. I love to cook. I make kickass baklava. I play the guitar…well I’m learning. A metal head and proud of it, I’m a big fan of Eddie Trunk and That Metal Show.
I enjoy hearing from readers of the blog or Scary Mondays. Email me at lynnsomervillefiction@gmail.com
